About the SiteReductio Ad Absurdum is a continually updated blog of politics and culture. Unlike many blogs, the focus here is not writing critical analysis of the day's news, but rather highlighting noteworthy articles on politics and culture (with a bit of Texana thrown in for good measure). New links are added at the top of column headings, whereas older links slide down the column headings and (eventually) into the appropriate monthly archives. Somes links expire more quickly than others, but most should be good for a week or so. A note on column headings is in order. One reader commented that he initially missed the additional categories that run down the columns. For your information, each of the columns has two separate headings, one at the top, one halfway down. The secondary headings are: Texana (column one), Society (column two), and Other Headlines (column three). Incidentally, the purpose of the reduced graphics on the right navigation bar is to jump to the associated headings quickly (so readers don't miss the secondary headings). If you've missed them, check 'em out. Submissions and comments are encouraged. Click here to send an email. Reductio Ad Absurdum is edited by Kevin Whited, and is an outgrowth of his personal website.
