Perspective

Friend Julie Neidlinger posts some thoughts on the Iraqi prisoner abuse.

At a time when it seems like people are falling all over themselves to condemn what happened in even starker terms than the last guy, it's nice to see some perspective.

You call that perspective!?!

Doesn't the fact that these Iraqi prisoners had nothing to do with the U.S.S. Cole bombing or 9-11 make any difference?

Or are all people of Arabic descent collectively guilty now?

I find this kind of logic really disturbing. It's lynch mob justice.

It's an alternative perspective, yes.

Diversity of thought good, yes.

I don't read Julie to be saying all people of Arab descent are guilty, but she can surely speak for herself -- perhaps that conversation will get along better in her comments?
